This newsletter is designed to help you enrich some aspect of your life by introducing cool and beneficial tech and lifestyle hacks and tips. I’ll throw in some reviews and how-tos for good measure.

Why This Newsletter

So, so, so many blogs & newsletters out there. So why this one? Perhaps the best way for me to illustrate why is with a personal example.

My father is a gruff man. Calloused and weary, full of humor and the definition of hard working. He’s also old-school and ‘country’, set in his ways and unchanging.
One day on a family dinner night, Pops asked me to check out his brand-new portable speaker and setup his phone to connect to it over Bluetooth. He’s also quite the oldies music buff, so, this sounded like a reasonable request except for one small detail. ‘Pop, how are you going to get your music from your old busted stereo system into your phone.’ He yelled back, ‘I don’t need to, the kids (his grandchildren- my niece and nephews) set me up with Spotify ’

Yes, my father, gruff, weary and set in his ways has Spotify on his brand spanking new iPhone 6. My nephews showed him how to create a playlist and even showed him how to click Play and he’s as happy as a gruff, weary, and set in his ways man can be.

Why Start Here

Simple. This is what I want for you if you’re reading this. Now, I’m not saying you have to be weary and set in your ways to enjoy this newsletter. No, be looking for some new app or piece of software that can help to enrich your life. That’s the ticket right there. This newsletter is simply my way of sharing some various pieces of software I’ve had the privilege of, responsibility to, and pleasure of using in my days.

If I can take a moment to introduce myself.  As you keep reading, you’re bound to read a lot about my family. However, I promise not to overwhelm you with my life, as truly it’s probably not that interesting. I don’t sky dive; and I rarely travel off the east coast (well that’s changed in the last 5 years) as I have a morbid fear of flying -though I LOVE taking off. Still, I’m a New Yorker by birth, so that’s pretty much synonymous with ‘story-teller’. I’m also an IT guy, a Residential Designer and even masquerade as a Spoken word artist, DJ, and musician in my spare time…yeah truly.

These facets of my life have introduced me to a lot of software packages, apps, and Operating System’s. How I have benefitted (and those that I interview) from these is what I will share on this newsletter. So, I would like to extend a Welcome! I hope that you find my newsletter beneficial and informative, if anything, at least entertaining.
